ABOUT DR. ERMINI....

Dr. Ermini was born in Yonkers, N.Y. and graduated in 1982 from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut with a degree in Biochemistry.
After college he worked in medical research at the American Health Foundation in Valhalla, N.Y. and Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City.
In 1986 he entered medical school at the University of South Alabama in Mobile. In 1989 he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, and graduated from medical school a year later.
Dr. Ermini finished his internship in General Surgery at the University of South Alabama in 1991, then left for the University of Wisconsin in Madison for a residency in Head & Neck Surgery, which lasted four more years.
Throughout this period he continued to perform medical research, with special interests in voice disorders and hearing problems.
Upon finishing the residency in 1995, Dr. Ermini went into private practice in Orangeburg, South Carolina. During that time he taught classes on voice disorders and was on the faculty at the South Carolina State University. He also served as president of the county medical society.
He came to Lumberton in January of 2000 to fill the community need created by Dr. McJilton's retirement. Dr. Ermini brings 14 years of medical experience with him to the community.
